Soccer Season Coming to an End
There are two things to be reminded of as Soccer Season comes to an end.
1) The playoff eligibility form is posted on the "registration" portion of our website. Coaches who have playoff teams must bring this form, filled out completely, to each playoff game starting with games this Sunday, Nov. 1st.
2) Sportsmanship Award Nominations must be submitted immediately following the season. All coaches in the 6th-8th grades should submit a nomination to cyo@seattlearch.org by the end of next week (Nov. 6th). Nominations should include the name of an opponent that competed with the best sportsmanship this season. Also include an explanation of specific things this team did that makes them stand out for this award.

Nov. 15th PLC Locations
We have two different location choices for the Play Like A Champion Today training on Sunday, November 15th. We will have a training at Sacred Heart in Bellevue, in their Moore Theatre there. We will also be offering a training in Everett, with the exact location still TBD. Both trainings are from 1-4pm.
Please pre-register using the registration form on our website and send to cyo@seattlearch.org. We need 15 pre-registered coaches per training by Thursday, November 12th, or we will have to cancel. Hopefully we fill both trainings, but if we have to cancel one, hopefully people will be willing to drive the extra distance and attend the other.

Concerns From Seattle Parks and Rec
We have been notified of two things that CYO Athletics community members have been in violation of:
1) No one should be parking on the grass at Woodland Park during cross country meets (specifically there have been issues with people parking around the bathroom).
2) No dogs are allowed inside fenced areas at soccer fields (specifically the turf fields have had issues of this).
Please respect Seattle Parks and Rec green spaces, as we have the privilege of using these, we would like to continue being granted this privilege.

Half Way Through Cross Country Season
We want to make a special note of thanks to all our volunteers the past two weekends for our CYO Cross Country preliminary meets. The meets are starting and ending on time, which makes such a huge difference for everyone involved. Thanks for all the people who came and helped out on the course and in the tent area with times and notecards.
This Sunday we have the K-3 Final Championship race, and then 4-8 Championships take place on October 18. Please start praying now for good weather the next two Sundays.
