The question came up a lot this week: Can AA teams backcourt press all game?
The answer is "yes"
AA and AAA are both Varsity divisions in basketball this year, and moving forward. Both play by the Varsity rules of CYO Athletics, including backcourt pressing.

As a coach of an AA team I am deeply disappointed with this decision. I am committed to developing and playing all of my team. This includes those who do not have any experience playing organized basketball. It is a complete joke that they have to learn playing against a full court press. Teams good enough to have a full court press should be playing in an AAA league and not be playing down a level at AA.
Bring back the JV league and a better chance for new players to enjoy the game.
