Team Championships this Saturday

The last Track meet of the year is this Saturday at Highline Stadium. We're hoping for warm weather, and another great day. As usual we'll need all the volunteers we can get to help facilitate events and keep the meets from going long. Good luck to all the athletes!

Lost and Found

Please make sure you come and check lost and found at the Team Championships meet on May 30th. Hopefully everyone is able to come to the meet and check the HUGE pile of stuff we've collected at all the previous meets. There is a bag full of books, and some other valuables I would imagine people would want back.

Individual Championships on Sunday

The Track & Field season is rolling along. A special thanks to all our volunteers last weekend at both Saturday meets and Sunday's Pentathlon. Everybody pitched in to make the events successful. This Sunday is the all-comers meet from noon to 2:00 at Highline Memorial Stadium, immediately followed by the Individual Championships. Once again we will need all the volunteers we can get to record times, spot, and help events run quickly and accurately. See everyone on Sunday!

Coaches Appreciation Dinner at St. Louise Last Night

CYO Athletics would like to congratulate St. Louise for a great coaches appreciation dinner last night and thank them for the invitation to attend. Clint Richardson was able to go on behalf of the CYO Athletics office, and spoke highly of the event. Clint said the dinner supported the philosophy of CYO Athletics, and the speakers were great. A special thanks to Bob, Mari, Bill and Fr. Tom for hosting the event.

Track Season Underway

CYO Athletics kicked off the Track & Field season Saturday at Highline Stadium. We had crazy weather, but everyone took it in stride and plowed through the events. This Saturday is our Qualifying meet, and we're going to need even more volunteers than we had last Saturday (this time we actually have to record results).

Coaches, remember that your final rosters for track are due this Friday. Make sure EVERYONE is listed on the roster, whether they came last week or not, so that no one is left out.

PLC Training Location Change!

The Play Like A Champion Today! training on Sunday, May 3rd will be in the OYYAM Living Room instead of the Isaac Orr Conference Room. Coaches will enter from 907 Terry St., across from the Seattle Surgery Center building, and kitty corner from the NW side of the O'Dea HS campus. Please be patient as we will have to come down and let people in as we see them line-up outside.
